Grand Hotel Gjøvik
Grand Hotel is the oldest hotel in Gjøvik and was founded by Malene Stiksrud in 1909. At the time, the hotel was called Stiksrud Hotel and had 16 rooms. Today, the hotel comprises four floors with a total of 90 rooms and suites.
Despite its long history, much of the hotel has been lost due to fires. In the continued development of the hotel’s character, it has therefore been important to build upon and reinforce expressions drawn from the building’s classical details.
Norco Hospitality was responsible for concept development, design, production, and delivery of all fixed interiors, loose furniture, and lighting for the rooms and suites in this project.
In 2025, Norco Hospitality once again had the pleasure of assisting the hotel with further upgrades of the remaining guest rooms.
